We had the cutest picnic this weekend! I have been dying to use my new picnic blanket, so we grabbed out fave veggie cuisine from Walmart and grilled it up for a little "homegating" party. Since we are busy with grad school and our puppy and work, we opted for some simple and quick recipes.

I try to eat mostly vegetarian and people are always like, "So, what can you eat if you don't eat meat?!" And I am always like, "EVERYTHING!" You can literally make all the same foods with veggie meat as you can with real meat, and it's way healthier and animal friendly :) Hence, my two favorites that I recreated:  pulled pork sandwiches and hot dogs haha.

ALSO these are SO fast to whip up. If you're like me and feel so busy all the time  you KNOW how nice t is to have recipes that are good and also veryyyyy quick. So, just another reason to try some veggie cuisine.

This football pigs-in-a-blanket is my favorite thing. If you know anything about me you know that I am obsessed with hot dogs. These are literally so easy to make and so yummy!

Ingredients needed: 1 egg, 1 package of MorningStar Farms® Veggie Dogs, 1 package of croissant dough, mustard.

Step 1.) Roll out the croissant dough. Cut into strips. Cut the hot dogs into 3 pieces each.
Step 2.) Wrap the hot dogs in the croissant dough and arrange in a football shape on a pan. Brush with egg wash.
Step 3.) Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (or until golden brown).
Step 4.) Add mustard in the shape of football strings (the white part). Enjoy!

Ok so if you know me, you know I am ALSO very obsessed with pulled pork. I am so excited Morningstar Farms has pulled pork now so I can still be veg friendly while eating one of my faves! These are also super quick and easy to make.

Ingredients: buns, 1 package MorningStar Farms® Veggie Pulled Pork, bbq sauce.

Step 1.) Cook the pulled pork. I used the microwave and it literally took 3 minutes! So easy!
Step 2.) Grill the buns, add pork, and add bbq sauce! (And any other toppings you like to use, I am just old school.)
Step 3.) Enjoy!

Don't worry. Tucker was not left behind at this party. He was actually pretty good and sat for *mostly* the entire time we ate.

Me to Tucker: "Hey we are going to eat this food and I will give you occasional treats if you are good and sit down ok? Can you do that?"
Tucker: "TL;DR"
